Begin your adventure with a flight to Arba Minch, nestled in the Rift Valley and surrounded by serene lakes sit on the edge of Nech Sar National Park, which houses Lake Chamo and Abaya, the second biggest by surface area in Ethiopia, as well as beautiful mountain landscapes and forests, including God’s Bridge, a mountainous area of dense acacia scrub separating the two lakes. Continue to visit the Konso poepel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its terraced landscapes, waga sculptures, and rich traditions. After lunch, the journey will continue diving deep the omo Valley to Turmi, via The Arbore tribes, the Arbores are found near lake chew Bet or lake Stephanie and they are adorned by different kinds of bids and animal skins, men can have multiple wives, with his first wife chosen by his father (with the marriage agreed to by the bride’s parents). All Arbore tribe children have shaved heads with the older girls often wearing a black or patterned cloth draped over their heads to protect them from the sun as well as a visual traditional to indicate they are unmarried virgins. Once they are married they grow their hair in braids parted down the center and mostly kept just above their shoulders
